Why CARFAX may say “Standard Range”
Tesla briefly planned a software-limited Standard Range 2023 Model X, then unlocked those cars and sold them all as All-Wheel Drive, with the same battery. CARFAX and VIN decoders still read the old code from the VIN. Tesla's own records list it as Model X All-Wheel Drive.
